Sharing some notes on a concept of establishing functional guild relationships between perennial plants in pots. This way they can start merging and sharing resources, establishing roots and relationships and be ready to be planted out as a group together when you are ready to get them in the earth.
In this case I'm connecting Pears/Apples/Plums with cultivar female seaberry plants, garlic and tulips. I'll be adding more layers either in the pots or later on once they are planted out. I need to clear the area they are to be planted in so this banks me some time to do so while the plants get to know one another!
*Note - I said Tulips were planted in between... My wife helped me remember that it was actually Daffodil. Same basic function! :)
