MusicTech and BandLab partnered up to bring Philadelphia-born artist Jeekie over to London to transform her demo, ‘Change’, into a full song with esteemed producer Raphaella. Recorded at Tileyard Studios, the elegant, vocal-rich track started out as a self-produced project by Jeekie, using the BandLab mobile app to layer harmonies, stack vocal lines, and make the arrangement. It was a no-brainer to get Raphaella involved here, who’s produced for Little Mix, Rudimental, Gorgon City, MK, and more.
We learn more about Jeekie's first experiences in a professional studio and what she learned from Raphaella.
