Ignored by Doctors: My Health Is Falling Apart and No One’s Listening

Описание: I’m tired of being ignored.
After a myomectomy to remove a fibroid, to help me move my bowels I expected relief. Instead, my symptoms worsened — my periods are the heaviest they’ve ever been, I’m soaking pads every hour, and now I’m dealing with rectal muscles so tight I can barely have a bowel movement.

I’ve gone to doctors, paid copays, and shown up ready for help — only to be met with blank stares and no answers. I’m sharing my story to raise awareness about how women’s pain, especially Black and brown women’s pain, is too often dismissed or ignored in our healthcare system.
