In this video, the WIKA CPH7000 Ex portable process calibrator is used to explain the calibration process for a four-to-twenty milliamp pressure transmitter in a hazardous environment.
✅ First, we will explain how to pre-program the calibration sequence using the CPH7000 Ex parameters
✅ Then we will demonstrate, step-by-step, how to safely connect the CPH7000 Ex calibrator to the instrument requiring testing and how to run the calibration sequence.
✅ Lastly, we will show you how to adjust the zero and span of the transmitter in case of calibration failure. After completion of the calibration, we will provide the successive steps to safely disconnect the CPH7000 Ex from the instrument.
The intrinsically safe CPH7000 Ex is a precise, portable multi-function calibrator. The user-friendly navigation system allows for smooth and straightforward operation. It can be used in hazardous environments to calibrate and measure a wide range of pressure and temperature instruments.
📍 Special features include:
Manual pressure generation of -0.85 up to +25 bar (12.3 up to 360 psi)
0.025 % FS accuracy
Data logger with high measuring rate and large memory
