이번 영상에서는 국립진주박물관이 소장중인 실물 오연자포, 십연자포를 바탕으로 실제 사용방법과 작동원리에 대해 학예사분들과 함께 자세히 살펴보도록 하겠습니다.

A special gunpowder weapon appears in the Netflix series “Kingdom.” To attack the zombie horde running at the palisade, joranhwan (鳥卵丸, iron balls of the bird’s egg size) were fired out of a special chongtong called the oyeonja-chongtong (五連子砲, five-barreled chongtong). Joseon’s mysterious fire cart aroused interest from both foreign and domestic audiences. They were curious about the weapon itself and how it was used.

Researchers at the Jinju National Museum talk about oyeonja-chongtong and sibyeonja-chongtong (十連子砲, ten-barreled chongtong) based on artifacts in the collection and historical records.
