Speaking to SG Veg Farms founder Eyleen Goh, the Sembawang farm produces about 200-500kg per day, and sells a portion of their produce to a nearby NTUC.
The Singapore Food Agency and Housing Development Board tendered out 16 Multi-Storey Car Park sites in 2020 and 2021 to pilot commercial urban farming, but only seven of these urban farms remain today.
