Small Bird Photography Tutorial - how to use perches. This video is aimed at more advanced/serious bird photographers. In this tutorial I look in depth at how to improve your small bird photography by choosing appropriate perches, how to keep them looking fresh and how to fine-tune your set-up to maximise depth of field. Images include Bullfinch, Goldfinch, Blue Tit, Robin and Great Tit. All photos taken with Canon equipment including a Canon 1DX and Canon 1D mark iv. Canon 500mm f4 Mark i lens and Canon EF 400mm f5.6 lens.
