This is a field test of the 4200 lumen Klarus G15 V2 Flashlight. I want to thank Klarus for sending me the light and making the review possible.
This is a high-lumen, low candela light that most likely fits in the large EDC category. These types of lights tend to look really good in darker, more contained areas and struggle with downrange illumination in more wide-open light polluted areas.
Field testing was performed in a variety of conditions ranging between both extremes in an attempt to determine the edge of the performance envelope.
