The Basics of Shuttle Tatting

Описание: In this video, I'll show you the basics of shuttle tatting:
0:52 starting a ring
1:21 making a double stitch
7:07 making picots
10:45 closing a ring
11:21 making the next ring
12:40 joining rings
15:52 the final join for when you make a circular motif (like the little motifs shown in the video).

For thicker yarn, like what is shown here (and what I recommend if you are just learning to tat) - this is size 3 Lizbeth Crochet yarn: https://amzn.to/4kMRGlj
Once you get the hang of it, you can try thinner threads (size 10 or thinner) for more delicate lace.
