Previously, we've stayed in private rooms, but this time around, we're experiencing a ward room, and I wanted to share this with you.

When I was about to be admitted, I tried searching online to see what a ward room looks like, especially at St. Luke's. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any detailed vlogs or content about it. So, I decided to create this video to help future patients know what to expect and what essentials to bring.

🛖 General Room Layout:
• The ward room typically accommodates multiple patients, so expect shared space.
• Each patient has a designated bed area with privacy curtains.

🛏️ Bed and Comfort:
• Each bed is equipped with basic linens, a pillow, and a blanket.
• The beds are adjustable, which is great for finding a comfortable position.

🗄️Storage and Personal Space:
• There's a small bedside table for your personal items.
• There's individual lockers for storing your belongings securely.

🚽Toilet and Bath🚿:
• A shared bathroom is available within the ward. It is cleaned regularly but may require coordination with other patients.
• The shared bathroom includes a toilet and a shower with hot and cold water, ensuring a comfortable and convenient experience for all patients.

🔇Privacy and Noise Levels:
• Curtains around each bed provide some level of privacy.
• Expect a higher noise level compared to private rooms due to multiple patients and hospital activities.

🧳Personal Hygiene Items:
• Bath towel, washcloth, Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, comb and bedroom slippers are provided.
