We just installed the Alu-Cab Silenus Roof Conversion on this INEOS Grenadier, adding serious overlanding capability to an already rugged vehicle. Designed specifically for the Grenadier, the Silenus pop-top integrates seamlessly with the vehicle’s bold profile—no weird lines or awkward modifications. It gives you extra interior height, sleeping space for two, and smart utility upgrades that turn the rig into a self-contained, go-anywhere basecamp.

Inside, the pop-top provides standing room when the bed is stowed, and the small rear bed section allows easy cabin access without waking your camp partner. The roof is insulated with polyethylene closed-cell foam, wrapped in automotive-grade fabric for comfort and durability. The canvas is double-layer, 400gsm UV-resistant rip-block with sealed seams for all-weather protection. A roll-up fly sheet adds another layer of defense, and small touches like an internal shoe bag help keep things organized.

Power and lighting are handled with overlanders in mind. The system includes two USB and two USB-C ports, LED lighting in both the roof and interior, and kill switches for all power points to prevent battery drain. There’s even an integrated Anderson plug up top for solar.

On the outside, the build stays clean and functional. The all-aluminum construction is lightweight and built for strength using custom roller-forming techniques. A tapered front profile helps reduce drag and improve fuel efficiency. Mounting options are everywhere, with double nutslot tracks on both sides, integrated cargo rails, and MOLLE plates for bolting on gear. Whether your Grenadier has the auxiliary roof power points or not, this system fits and functions seamlessly.
