After computing cut and fill area and volume reports, area report and volume report can then be exported to Excel in Earthwork Quantity Calculation Software. Elevation Grid can be exported in Grid Format in Excel, Where Northing and Easting are represented as Rows and Columns. Cross-sections used for area calculations can be exported into Single AutoCAD Drawing.

Earthwork Software Exporting Results and Reports
Hello everyone, welcome to the video tutorial in which we will discuss how drawings and reports can be generated from the Earthwork Module of ESurvey CADD.
You can Export the plan by clicking on the CAD button when you have generated a plan in Earthwork Module. When you are viewing cross-sections in the Calculation and Drawing Screen, you can generate that specific cross-section by clicking on CAD Button. An area report of that specific cross-section can be generated by clicking on the Report button. If you want Volume calculation report then you can select the “Volume” tab and click on “Report” Button.
If you want volume calculation as per the Block method, then you can click on the CAD button to generate drawing from the “Block” window or click on the “Report” button from the “Block” Window.
You can also generate all the reports related to one project at a time from the “Drawings and Reports” window by selecting, “Drawings and Reports” option under the “Earthwork” menu. In this window, you can mention a project name and select “Drawings”, “Area Report”, “Plan” and “Volume report Option” and click on Generate Button.
The program will create all the files in the specified project directory and opens it up.
Many times, it may be required that the data related to earthwork calculation have to be presented in a different format, either for importing it as raw data in any other software or for presenting the data in different formats. Data from the Earthwork module of ESurvey CADD can be exported in a different format.
To export data, select the Export menu under Earthwork Menu. From this window, you can generate various reports.
Original Elevation: Data imported can be exported back to excel or if we have filtered the selection, then the only filtered value can be exported.
Elevation in Plain Format: Grid Elevations considered for calculation in different layers can be saved as a CSV File.
Grid Elevations Row Wise: Grid Elevations can be exported chainage wise.
Grid Elevation in Tabular Format: Grid Elevations represented in CAD are exported as is in the Excel Sheet. Please note that this export creates two worksheets, one representing Baselayer data another representing formation layer data.
E Survey Section File: Sections generated in Earthwork come with a predefined format. If you wish to create sections with your own settings, then it is possible to do it in Section Module of ESurvey CADD. Using this option you will be able to create an ESurvey CADD file that can be opened as a section module file. Once you open this file in ESurvey CADD, you have lots of flexibility to modify Section Properties.
Series Format: Section data are represented in Layer, chainage, Distance, Reduced Level format is called ‘Series’ format of Section module.
Thank you so much for watching this video. In the next video, you will learn “Importing data available in Grid Format”
