Early in the morning on Saturday, a pro-Palestine activist started scaling the Palace of Wesminster tower in what he has descirbed as an act of ‘civil disobedience’.
The unnamed protester has been sharing videos on social media, under the instagram name handle @free_all.of.us, saying “I’m not going anywhere”.
At least nine emergency services were present on the scene, Westminster bridge was closed off, and tours of Parliament cancelled.
