Kyo Kusanagi: Kyo carries the weight of ancestral duty. While he is a hero, his life is defined by a 1,800-year-old feud. His arc is often about reclaiming his right to be an individual rather than just a "sacrificial tool" for sealing away ancient evils.

Team 2: The Enforcers (Blue Mary, Clark, & Maxima)
This team represents the intersection of state authority, military duty, and transhumanism.

Blue Mary: As an investigative agent, she represents the rule of law. However, she often works outside the system to ensure that justice is actually served, reflecting the right to a fair trial and the protection of civil liberties.

Clark Still: A career soldier in the Ikari Warriors. Clark’s perspective is rooted in collective security. He sacrifices his personal freedoms to serve a chain of command, ensuring the safety of the world from global threats.

Maxima: Maxima’s story is a deep dive into bodily autonomy. Having been turned into a cyborg against his will (initially by NESTS), he now uses his mechanical body to fight for the rights of those who have been exploited by corporations. He is a living symbol of the right to physical integrity.
