SPINSTRESS (a short film)

Описание: thank you for watching a teen filmmaker's first attempt at a short film :) this film was inspired by my struggles with relationships as someone with OCD, anxiety, and depression. plus catching spiders in my bathroom and my lifelong habit of talking to myself. sending love to anyone to relates to either of my main characters. I highly recommend NOCD (https://www.treatmyocd.com) to learn more about OCD, I am passionate about spreading information and representation about it.

massive thank you to my mom for helping me with everything from computer crashes (me and my MacBook don't mesh), to holding lights, to sitting on the phone with Apple Support, to wrangling ("casting") random spiders. this is my first short film, and I wrote, shot, and edited in in 3 weeks in order to make a summer program application (California State Summer School for the Arts film program). don't judge me too hard! i'm still learning my way around my camera, had very limited lighting/audio, and had a tight schedule! I learned a ton and will only improve :D if you see lav mic clips or digital noise, shhhh no you don't 🤫
