Lets Grow Flax - communally grown and locally produced jeans

Описание: 'Let's Grow Flax' is a community project with the aim to explore local textile production. Inspired by the 'Grow your own Jeans ' Fibreshed projects in the US and the "Homegrown/Homespun" project in the north of the UK, 30 local flax growers at the Surrey/Hampshire border each grew a square metre of flax in their garden and produced a pair of Linen Denim Jeans, guided by sustainable weaver Brigitte of BeeKayMakes.

The 2024 collaboration with Amanda Hannaford, the Fantasy Fibre Mill And London Fashion Activist Nick Evans of FirstPrincipals was supported by the Arts Council England.
