Dismissing any speculation over the termination of his tenure as the Chief Minister of Karnataka, Basavaraj Bommai on August 11 snapped at Congress for spreading rumours. While stating that rumours of his ouster were baseless and that it 'amused' him, CM Bommai blamed the Congress party for bringing 'instability' to the minds of the people.
"It's (rumours about his exit) amusing me. They (Congress) think they can bring instability into the minds of people. This is all falsehood, people won't believe them...Government is stable," ANI quoted CM Bommai as saying.
Also, while dismissing talks about speculated changes in the state's leadership, the incumbent Karnataka CM committed to putting two more hours in a day and more devotion to the development of the state.
