Описание: In this video, we take a look at the Rhode & Schwarz FSEB 30 model of spectrum analyser, 20hz to 7GHz range. Complaining of too low an RF level, We start the process by firstly confirming the fault, followed by making sure the user settings are correct & nothing such as ext RF attenuation inputted thus potentially offsetting the indication of level, we then advance into the calibrate menu & run a sequence, this reveals a level error code, we then examine the internals, the PSU system voltages, then we make a start on the RF input attenuator confirming its operation using an Aeroflex spectrum ana & Marconi Microwave Test Set 6200A VNA scalar function sweep of the R&S input attenuator module, we look in detail of the internal 120mhz @ - 40dbm calibrate standard & measure its level, we then embark on carrying out detailed measurements of the RF Converter module as instructed of multiple tests is the Service Manual under the troubleshooting section. we confirm the YIG oscillator on the HP microwave spectrum analyser, we confirm frequency measurements of the 1st mixer & 2nd IF output which confirms a fault within the RF converter module, we take a look inside the RF converter module but its evident its unrepairable as R&S do not provide circuit information & only replace the module under an exchange repair service.
