Want to know how to route MIDI and Audio between Logic Pro X and VCV Rack? Rack is an awesome modular synth DAW. This will show you how using Soundflower and MIDI IAC Bus on OS X - without a plugin. There was a bridge plugin that is no longer a thing.. so here is what you do.
INSTRUCTIONS:The general idea is that we are going to create some OS level tools to help us route audio and midi inside the operating system. In the end, we can route midi to VCV Rack and get audio back.
We can also route midi AND audio to process audio using effects and modulator that are tempo-synced to Logic - via midi clock.
