EP.017 Crime Analysis Latin American Style - The Colombian Connection

Описание: In this crime analysis interview, I spoke with Hector Amaya Cristancho, a former Columbian Police Officer and University Professor. Hector initially joined the International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA) to assess how police services around the globe were training and implementing processes surrounding the field of Crime Analysis. Hector has since developed a Latin American committee that has setup teams of analysts in Columbia, Chile, Dominican Republic, Guatemala and other countries in the private and public sectors working on data related to crime. He instigated the Crime Analysis certification in Spanish for those in Latin America creating a professional connection to analysts from all over the world. Hector explains that membership and participation in the IACA provides the advantage to expand knowledge and networks through access to content and people from different backgrounds and Countries.
