Clearing out a culvert packed with mud and debris takes the right equipment and a crew that’s ready to put in the work. For this job, we unfolded the Vac-Boom XLR and got it positioned over the culvert, then connected it to our hydrovac truck to begin removing the buildup that had collected inside.
This project took three days to complete thanks to a secondary hydrovac truck being dispatched to assist. With both trucks running and the ground crew pushing things forward, the culvert was fully cleared and restored to proper flow.
Jobs like this show how the Vac-Boom XLR and hydrovac combination can handle large cleanout work while the crew on the ground keeps everything moving from start to finish.
