I've always wanted a Mallard Duck RC Boat, and now my sons have bought me one. This Flytec model looks the part, and many people were fooled and found it entertaining, animals too but the steering is terrible. Could always be upgraded one day. Still it was interesting to see how my cats reacted to it - Pixel slept, Neon was curious. Then at the pond the Seagulls were mostly ok with it, just one or two deciding to have a peck at the bum when it was moving away. When it faced them, they turned away. Interesting to see how it is all mostly a show of force in the animal world - nobody wants to risk injury.
It comes with 2 x Li_ion batteries that take about an hour to charge, and run for about 15 mins. If you run them down it may conk out in the middle somewhere. It has forward, reverse, and left and right. Prop steer only when powered forward too.
No animals were harmed in this video, but my plastic Duck was bitten quite a lot (no damage).
