In this video we finally get to ride the ex team Carrera Battaglin that Italian sprinter and time trialist Guido Bontempi rode with the Carrera team in 1988.
With a frame made of Columbus SL and fitted Campagnolo C-Record groupset (including the infamous Delta Brakes you can really feel the sprinting DNA of this bike, custom made for multiple grand tour stage winner Guido Bontempi, who, riding for the Carrera team, won the prologue at the Tour de France in 1988 and wore the yellow Jersey on stage 1 on this very bike. The Carrera Battaglin is faultless, proving itself an exceptional bike to ride - its no wonder you can still by a brand new steel replica from Battaglin this very day, they are that iconic!
