Éliphas Lévi (1810–1875), born Alphonse Louis Constant, was a French occultist, writer, and ceremonial magician whose influence shaped the foundations of modern Western esotericism. He wove together mysticism, Kabbalah, alchemy, and Christian symbolism into a unified philosophy that inspired the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, Thelema, and modern tarot interpretation.

• ROTA – the wheel, life’s eternal cycle
