This is the 4th day of our mission to get to the summit of Mount Redondo. We had been blown off of the ridge the previous night and slept in a pretty precarious spot, though we were safe from raging wind gusts that swept down the valley all night long. Our goal for the day was to make it to our "base camp" were we would prepare for the summit of Mount Redondo. We started off the morning by climbing over a waterfall because the drainage was impassable below due to remaining avalanche/landslide debris. We traversed the valley high above the bushes to avoid the horrible wacking that we had done in previous days, then eventually found a drainage that we could follow to the valley floor and continue up the valley into the alpine pasture that was our camp. It was a gorgeous day and stoke was high.
