Описание: EnkaRainDrain 9714 is an exterior rainscreen/ wall drain product designed for use behind traditional stucco, EIFS, manufactured stone, fiber cement & metal panel applications. It provides a drain path &ventilation for incidental moisture between exterior wall finish materials & weather barrier sheathing. This product has a unique geometry that combines the benefit of compression strength according to traditional testing measurements with the spring-like structure of other Enkadrain products.

Which rainscreen to use when. What was specified?
The difference in varous rainscreens is the thickness.
🏆 EnkaRan Drain 9714 is a thinner rainscreen based on possible moisture of .18” EnkaRainDrain 9714 is fine for stucco (and other siding) in Cali, AZ, etc., You will see rainscreen down to 3mm specified for this. 9714 is 4.5mm
🏆 EnkaDrain 3601 is .3” 3601 is probably most common SF to SEA, 7mm is what you typically see spec’d, 3601 is 7.62 mm, for all kinds of siding, fibercement, metal, etc.
🏆 Enkadrain 3611 is .45” In BC you will see minimum of 10mm required for rainscreen on all types of siding, 3611 is 11.43 mm
This rainscreen installation and wall assembly is really driven by spec & architect/designer, the contractor, either waterproofing or siding, should not only know total quantity needed but also Thickness (minimum) needed for rainscreen.
