Amersham town is commutable via Metropolitan underground and Chiltern Railways from Central London. Amersham town is a very beautiful place.
Amersham underground station has the highest elevation on the entire London Underground network at 147m above sea-level, higher than Big Ben tower.
From the Amersham station, we walk towards the town centre, then take a left turn to the Boot & Slipper pub. From there, we walk another left and follow directions to Parsonage wood. Start walking downhill towards the river Misbourne. Visit the beautiful St.Mary's Church, Amersham Memorial Garden, High Street and the Old Amersham market town.
