I have a rather beefy computer, but it seems even that can't handle the thousands of lasers being fired by hundreds of ships at once in a sector. Don't worry, large scale combat doesn't happen too often, most of the time it happens whilst your out of sector anyway. Again in vanilla or even Litcube's, these Xenon sectors are normally not THIS "lively".
Also the industrial complex kernals are rather interesting structures. Requiring the combination of specially designed TLs (large transports) to use as specific production plants with specially designed shop TSs (regular transport) ships docked inside them, whilst the TL is docked and programmed in the kernal to tell it what to do. At least, that's how I think it works.
Xenon "Economy" is confusing in this mod.
