How to emulate the strings sound from Gary Numan's Cars, originally played on the PolyMoog analog synth. Get ready to build a sound from scratch in this step by step Korg Kross 2 tutorial. The Kross is not an analog synth but a (budget) digital workstation that is perfectly capable of replicating analog sounds. This lesson is perfect for those who have already gotten their feet wet with operating the Kross and are ready to dip their toe into sound programming. After doing a quick synth tutorial on how to play Cars, I decided to make this video on how to start building the actual sounds from the ground up.
***Note to Kross 1 owners - the multisamples used in this video are 238 and 239 in that board.
