William Bonin, also known as the Freeway Strangler, wanted a dinner fit for a ten year old’s birthday party. On this episode of Last Meals.

William Bonin killed 21 young male hitchhikers over a 12 month period. He requested as his last meal a pepperoni pizza, chocolate ice cream and coca cola.

In a large bowl combine two cups flour
1 packet instant yeast
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
3/4 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons olive oil
3/4 cup warm water

Mix Until well combined

Knead dough for five minutes

Coat in thin layer of olive oil, cover and let prove for one hour

After suffering an abusive childhood, Bonin was placed in the care of a convent which further abused him.
He was in and out of jail for molesting young boys before graduating to the murder of a 13 year old in 1979. He would drive his Econoline van around the streets of southern California looking for hitchhikers to claim as his victims.

The dough should have risen to about twice its size.
Knead for 5 minutes
Press out into a 12 inch circle
Pinch edges and cover in thin layer of olive oil
Add marinara
Mozzarella cheese
And Peperoni


Bonin was arrested and confessed to the murders but expressed no remorse. He was executed by lethal injection at San Quinten prison February 23, 1996.


Bake pizza
at 425 degrees for 15 minutes
