Here is my modded DSL40C.
This is a first edition from 2014, that originally came with the seventy 80 speaker.
This mod involves bypassing an entire preamp valve and converting to a Classic Marshall layout with switching between a 1987 circuit and 2204 with some additional “hotrodded” features.
The amp absolutely rips now!
All can be done for about $20 in parts. Additionally, a choke can be added to push it into that next level of performance.
