Today I checked on the remaining double NUC, Blue and Green. I am impressed with how this Double NUC, some call these hives a Resource Hive, has performed this season.

Blue Side: Found brood in both boxes, so that is great. Will most likely need to feed this colony as I am slightly concerned with the stores that they have. I do have frames of honey saved for these types of situations.

Green Side: Found brood, eggs, and the Queen in the top box, did not go into the lower box. Like Blue, I'll most likely feed and supplement in frames for them to have over the winter.

This hive also I plan to leave a Super on so that they have plenty of stores.
