ALLFIE marked United Nations International Day of Families 2023 by discussing how to achieve equity and justice for Young Disabled people and their families, in an inclusive mainstream education system. The International Day, observed on May 15 every year, was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1993 with resolution A/RES/47/237 and reflects the importance the international community attaches to families.
