September's release is a cover of a song called, "After the Lights Go On" by Brock Walsh. However, the first version of the the song I heard was called "Hey There Boys" by the early eighties Disney band, you heard that right - Disney, Halyx. If you have not seen the 2020 documentary Space Mountain: A Halyx Story - and you're into good music stories - I highly recommend it. The overall vibe of the documentary, and the lyrics to Hey There Boys - really hit home with me, and got me to start releasing my solo music. My version features Barbara Allen on vocals, and Robb Milne on drums, and special thanks to Kenichi and Noah for being in the video. I hope you enjoy it!
