Edison Future EF1-T Electric Solar Pickup Truck

Описание: EV startup EdisonFuture recently showcased its EF1-T pickup and EF1-V commercial van at the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show and made quite the impression with its sleek designs and impressive performance. The startup, which forms part of Chinese renewable energy company SPI, has some big plans for the future and hopes to start deliveries in 2025.

Judging by the design of the EF1-T pickup, EdisonFuture is off to a promising start. This clean EV truck measures 243 inches long, there's also an optional eight-foot bed, making it significantly longer than the Tesla Cybertruck. The exterior features a set of hardcore off-road tires, flush door handles, a clean front-end with thin LED lights and a sloping windshield that looks like something out of an episode of Power Rangers. For added practicality, a pair of fold-out side steps are also included and It should be noted that the EF1-T will also have solar cells on the roof.

Renderings released of the interior showcase a large 17.5-inch infotainment screen, a digital gauge cluster, a head-up display, and toolboxes integrated into the doors.

Details about the batteries and range have not been announced yet. The EF1 T will be available in three different versions: Standard, Premium and Super. The Standard model with 300 mile range will utilize a single electric motor, allowing for a zero to 60 mph acceleration time of less than 6.5 seconds, with a towing rating limited to 7,500 lbs. The dual motor Premium version with 380 mile range will need less than 4.5 seconds to hit 60 mph and should be able to tow 8,000 lbs. As for the tri motor Super variant with 450 miles of range, it will get you to 60 in under 3.9 seconds, with a towing rating of 8,500 lbs.
