Starting with a subway journey across town, we make a few interesting stops along the way, including Wuhan's bustling Jianghan Road and the foreign concessions area. I also stop by a friend's old shop, only to find he's moved on.
The heart of this journey brings us to an Eastern Orthodox Church, built during Russia’s imperial days to serve the Russian community here. This church even hosted Nicholas II when he visited Wuhan before becoming Tsar, as part of a grand tour of Asia.
Along the way, we encounter lively city streets, beautiful architecture, and a bit of wedding photo culture unique to China. Join me as we walk through history and uncover the Russian traces hidden in this vibrant Chinese city!
