Lutuv Cawsie - Lutuv Traditional Clothing and Jewelry. Produced by Siy Hne Paa Sievang (Sui Hnem Par) as part of the CLRP video series.
In this video we share some important knowledge about Lutuv traditional clothing, jewelry, and headwear.
A heartfelt thank you to model Monica Ngun Hnem (Khyhruo) and Nung Daisy Hesa (expert narrator) for demonstrating how to wear, and sharing knowledge about, Lutuv traditional clothing.
We are also deeply grateful to Nung Esther Nini and Nung Khin Ma for their behind the scenes support and knowledge, and to Zing Peng Lian (photographer), Clement Van Biak Thang, and Helen Aye Ma (Hnaring Town) for sharing additional photos of traditional Lutuv headwear.
Thank you to Traditional Arts Indiana for supporting this work, to Amanda Bohnert for technical support and assistance, and to Professors Kelly Berkson and Jon Kay for their guidance and advising.
This project is part of Ms. Par's fieldwork, supervised by Professor Jon Kay from the Department of IU Folklore and Ethnomusicology. Ms. Par is deeply passionate about documenting Lutuv traditional knowledge and ways of life, which motivates her to create these educational videos.
Thanks for watching! Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe to our channel!
