This song is a metaphor of feeling you belong elsewhere yet shipwrecked. This was kind of an accident because initially I meant to record a different track thats already written but started improvising and all these other melodies started happening and just went with it. I guess sometimes it really is better to not think at all and simply listen to what you hear from within. This was influenced by Irish/Scottish Folk music, Tavern music, gigs and reels.
