Based in Knocktopher in County Kilkenny we toured the 5 counties of South East Ireland, starting in Thomastown. Then we visited Woodstock. Next we went to Newmarket to visit the Famine Museum before moving on to Kells Priory,
Next we explored the county town of Kilkenny before visiting Altamont Garden in County Carlow, Leighlinbridge.
Then we went to New Ross to see the replica of the Dunbrody, a ship on which many from the area emigrated to America.
We visited possibly the oldest lighthouse in the world at Hook Head.
Then we took a ride on the narrow gauge Waterford and Suir Valley Railway to Carrick and back.
Then came the Waterford coast and Dungarven.
On next to Cobb in County Cork and a trip into the mountains.
We went to County Wexford to the wildfowl reserve and finish at Johnstown Castle
