Pharrell Williams - Banksville Elementary School Presents Happy! (2014 End of Year Lip Dub)

Описание: Banksville Elementary School is part of Pittsburgh Public Schools. We take pride in our happy and productive learning environment as well as the many cultures that make up our diverse learning community.

Our 2014 end of the year lip dub video features our entire school staff and student body. We are grateful that we were able to once again count on our supportive community partners and resources to help us showcase our school pride and spirit!

The international flags featured in the beginning of the video as well as the American flag represent the 17 diverse cultures served by our school. In addition, we incorporated the City of Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania State Flags, key positive messages hidden throughout the video, a scene of our students holding the word "Happy" written in their various languages.

Finally, the last scenes feature our Kindergarten students who are just beginning on the "Pathway" to achieving the Pittsburgh Promise - a $40,000 scholarship that all Pittsburgh Public School students are eligible to receive if they live in our city, attend our schools, and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA.

Banksville is a HAPPY SCHOOL thanks to our staff, students, parents and community working so well together. This experience fostered team work among all students and staff, encouraged and developed creativity, incorporated physical education, and showcases how a diverse group of individuals can work together to learn, create, and grow, as we do everyday in each of our classrooms!
