This is a two part series! In this part I unbox a brand new Somogear PEQ15 to check out the contents. I then test the unit with a variety of pressure switches and check out its out-of-the-box performance. I crack the guts of the device, see what makes it tick, address and fix problematic parts, and put it back together. Lastly I test a real L3 LA5 diffuser cap against a homemade one.

In part 2 we'll go over installation, zeroing, and testing to see if this Somogear PEQ15 is worth the hype, and the convenient price!
