Stroke Part 1: Overview & Functional Impairment | OT Miri

Описание: May is National Stroke awareness month and this year, it hits me harder as I remember and grieve the loss of my friend Peter who suffered from a stroke. In remembering him, and in his honor, I decided to do a series on stroke and share as much knowledge as I can to shed light on what is one of the leading causes of death and long term disability. To that end, this video is different than my usual short, light hearted video. It’s long, more dense and packed with information. I hope this video inspires, equips and empowers you as you continue to bring light and comfort to those whose lives have been affected by a stroke. Rest in Peace, Peter.
