Shakedown at Laguna Seca with SpeedSF in my new C8 Z06. First session the temperature was already in the 80s and it just got worse after that. The power definitely made up for my sloppy driving today—I should’ve had a couple of 1:34 laps, but I just couldn’t get it together. The car is currently on lowering springs with rates similar to my previous C8, but it somehow feels softer. Tires are Goodyear Supersport R, which in my opinion are pretty close to the SC3—maybe a touch faster, with better heat tolerance. Overall, the balance feels great and the steering response is excellent.
