Over the last couple of days I’ve been doing Sophie studies on the Octatrack. I find her sound design to be extremly interesting so I wanted to try and emulate it on the Octatrack.
The recipe is basically feigning FM with help from the LFO designer, chorus and compression. And LOTS of it.
While I realize the song is not technically structured in a Sophie fashion, it’s birth was drawn from Sophie. So I dub it simply “Ode to SOPHIE”
