Across the Mojave Desert 2026

Описание: Near the end of April 2026, we left our home on the Sunburst Ranch near the coast of northern Santa Barbara County. We were headed east to meet up with a group for an off road adventure from Gold Butte National Monument through the Grand Canyon Parashant National Monument and ending at Saint George, Utah. This video covers the journey through the Mojave Desert to Little Finland. It was our first time visiting Afton Canyon and camping on the shore of Lake Mead (Lake Mead National Recreation Area). While camping at Government Wash and Stewarts Point at Lake Mead we were able to explore sights along the North Shore Road like the trail through Redstone. From Stewarts Point we looked across the Overton Arm of Lake Mead to Gold Butte National Monument in Nevada. This slideshow ends at Little Finland in Gold Butte NM.
