1931 Ford Model A Coupe Hot Rod First Test Drive
Test drive of my 1931 Ford Model A Coupe hot rod that I built in my garage.
You could call it a Rat Rod. The old coupe body had a lot of surface rust, but it has been out in the weather since 1931! lol
This build started as most of a 1931 Ford Model A Coupe body and a frame, front suspension, rear suspension and an engine and transmission and rearend. I had to build the back 2/3 of the frame myself as well as the floor and mount the body, wire it up, build all the brake system, etc.
It was all worth it when I was able to finally take it for a test drive!
The 31 coupe body's top was chopped 3.5 inches and the body was channeled 4.5 inches.
