Steve, our NC programmer, needs to define the machining process for a conveyor bracket.
In this demo, work with Steve to utilize the features of NX CAM to automate programming, generate advanced toolpaths, and simulate the machining processes.
Let’s start by helping Steve do the following:
• Rough the workpiece using Adaptive Milling, a high-speed machining operation
• Automatically generate operations with feature-based machining
• Generate deburring operations using an automated strategy
Let’s continue to help Steve as we:
• Re-use a “tombstone” setup to machine multiple parts in a single setup
• Program the parts on the tombstone using multiple part programming
• Adjust the distributed operations by editing the original operation
