Sky News host Sharri Markson says the "infamous Labor dirt unit" is in full swing against Peter Dutton.
As the parliamentary term nears its end, the Senate has descended into chaos over allegations of insider trading levelled against Opposition Leader Peter Dutton.
"Labor ministers used the revelations to claim Peter Dutton didn't understand cost of living pressures," Ms Markson said.
"The election campaign hasn't even officially begun but we've already seen Albanese roll out Mediscare – the same scare campaign from the 2016 election – and now a grubby attack on Peter Dutton's homes."
