Описание: Who doesn’t love an afternoon nap? But what happens when you're sleepy every day at work and your boss is giving you that dirty stare, and thinks you're just lazy?! But all you want is a nice sweet afternoon sleep session!

So what makes you sleepy after lunch? Honestly, it may not be you being lazy... your afternoon drowsiness is very much linked to how much carbs you eat in the day. And you know what else is linked to your dirty carb intake? Diabetes! Carbs cause your insulin to be dis-regulated.. and this risks puts you at risk of type 2 diabetes!

In today’s episode of The Whole Truth Academy, we answer why do we feel so sleepy after lunch and how to avoid afternoon sleep after lunch.
