In this episode of my Ladakh Vanlife Journey, I started my drive from Leh towards Zanskar Valley, one of the most remote and stunning routes in India. What was supposed to be a smooth travel day turned into an unexpected adventure when I got stuck for almost 8 hours due to road construction and a massive landslide on the mountain route.
The Leh–Zanskar road is known for its rough terrain, narrow passes, and unpredictable weather. During this time, I met a few travelers and local truck drivers who were also waiting for the road to clear. It was a test of patience, endurance, and the true spirit of vanlife in the Himalayas.
